ISHAKU A. NDA, Deputy Director
Deputy Director, Planning Statistics and Research Education
Ishaku A. Nda hails from Lapai LGA. He started his career in 1988 with the State Ministry of Education, as a teacher of English at Zarumai Model School, Minna.
He continued as a classroom teacher until 2000 when he was posted to the Planning, Statistics and Research Department in the Ministry of Education as an Assistant Chief Education Officer. He was appointed the Deputy Director of the Department in 2015, supporting the Director in carrying out the day-to-day activities of the Department.
He is specifically in charge of support services for the Joint Consultative Committee on Education and the National Council on Education, which is the highest decision-making body of the Educational Sector in Nigeria. He also coordinates national meetings for both bodies.
